Recently Arch City Army received an anonymous email, in this email we were called the “Jackasses who never shut the hell up!”  Rather than let this become an insult to the group, we have instead decided to use it as a rally to ensure we never shut up when it comes to supporting the Columbus Blue Jackets.  We have a shirt design pending and should have it soon, however we wanted to get a pre-order up ASAP.

I recently had the misfortune of sitting in front of you clowns during a game and wish to share my thoughts.

You guys make experiencing games at Nationwide more painful than the Blue Jackets themselves do.

Your chants are ill-timed to the action, most are incomprehensible, and the one you chant after we score is plagerized straight from Nashville.

Lastly, your name sucks. St. Louis is the Arch City. Please reconsider changing your name to the Motor City Maniacs, Windy City Warriors, or Jackasses Who Never Shut The Hell Up.

Seriously though… stop.

Since we are unable to respond directly to the sender, as they used an email that is non-existent, we hope they can understand our support for the team and continue to support the CBJ in their own way.

Recently we reached out to our current membership to design our new member card.  The designs were then voted on by 37% of our membership, and based on their votes the winning design submitted by Brett Ireland is:

We are excited to get these member cards into the hands of our current and future members.  We will begin getting this design ready for print and mail them out to our current members ASAP.  Thanks again for the submissions we received and for voting on your favorite one!

If you have been holding out on getting a membership to Arch City Army, you may want to jump on it ASAP.  We are running low on the third jersey color Fire the Cannon! scarf, your best chance of getting a scarf is to join online by clicking on A.C.A Store in the upper right corner of this page or at our table during home games.  Our table is located outside section 228 and is staffed before the game, during intermissions, and after the game.  Once the current stock of scarves is depleted we will have to place all future orders on backorder until we are able to place an order with our vendor.

We will require a minimum number of sales before we can place the order, once placed this order can take up to 6 weeks to be delivered.  We are excited about the surge in membership, and hope that it continues.  Until such a time that we are able to place orders without doing a backorder, this process is the only way we are able to operate.
